Once again, I would like to thank you for your time and tremendous assistance in jurying Scarborough Arts Council's 19th annual Art Naturally arts festival. This job is not an easy one and you offered not only a professional approach, but also a clear understanding of your choices.

You were also a great addition to Art Naturally through the tours you gave of the grounds Your agreement to participate by offering these tours of the Guild Inn and its' history is an asset that only ensures a great festival weekend.

I am very grateful for all the effort you have put forth for this event. It has ensured a very successful weekend.

The following letter was my invitation to speak at the
OPPI/OALA 2003 Conference

February 20, 2003   Mr. Dorsey James 1943 Spruce Hill Road Pickering, ON, L1V 1S6 Dear Mr. James, The Program Committee for the OPPI/OALA 2003 Joint Conference is pleased to invite you to present your proposal at the Power of Place conference.  A total of 65 proposals were submitted from the Proposal Call, and of these, approximately 25% have been incorporated, either wholly or in part, into the 2003 Program. I’ve had the opportunity of speaking with a number of you over the past few weeks in order to discuss the inclusion of your proposal into sessions and the linking of like proposals. The Program Committee feels that these strategic linkages have enabled us to include more submitted proposals into the full Program. I will be continuing to call those of you that I have not had the opportunity of speaking with to discuss your proposals and the session format.  All of us are dealing with the financial realities of limited budgets and the OPPI/OALA Conference is no exception. Consequently, we encourage professionals to give freely of their time for this conference. The Conference Committee will offer you a complementary meal close to your session as identified above, however, all incidental expenses will be your responsibility. Should you wish to attend other conference sessions or activities, we encourage you to take advantage of the early registration discounts. The conference package will provide further details and a block of rooms at Deerhurst has been set aside for this conference. The Program Committee believes that an outstanding program has been developed for our peers. Your contribution is sure to enhance our effort to provide delegates with a rich and rewarding learning experience. Further information regarding your participation will be provided to you by the moderator of your session in the coming months. In the meantime, I would like to thank you again for joining our team for this outstanding event.  We look forward to speaking with you and to your participation in what promises to be our most successful conference to date.
