I Am
I am
is carved from the trunk of a black walnut tree. It is about
four and a half feet high and represents the hand of God. It
is meant to be both powerful and gentle at the same time.
At its base you can see a crown with four thorns which dig into
the flesh of the arm. The thorns bear the symbols of this world,
fire, earth, wind and water. From one of the painfully penetrating
thorns, a drop of blood swells like a tear.
