Castor and Pollux
These twins are the result of a union between
the beautiful Leda and Zeus, who adapted the form of a swan to
seduce her. One became a merchant and the other became a boxer.
The two became the symbols of trade and commerce.
This relief carving was commissioned by The Donway packaging Company.
It currently hangs in the office of the president and general
manager. It is carved from laminated beams of douglas fir and
stained.
